when i happened by here
yesterday afternoon
there was quite a hubbub
surrounding this vessel
the rcmp and paramedics
can be seen aboard
talking to the owner
and the spade brigade
is hard at work
digging a canal to freedom
for this landbound boat home
it was deposited here
during a king tide
sometime last year
what i have learned
is that the owner of the boat
wants to stay right here
while her son who lives aboard
wants to get it out of here
