my caesar salad
is pretty damn decent
and i have valdy to thank
for teaching me
how to make it decent
but dammit
it costs a lot to make it
both in ingredients
and in the time it takes
to do it right
grate parmesan
fry bacon bits
peel and press garlic
cut and juice lemon
slow heat big croutons
and tear and spin lettuce
not to mention
the mixing of the dressing
but in the end
it is all worth it
