ziarah marley rose
my first grandgirl is 20 today
and here she is at 3 years young
gumbooting in a big puddle
after a rare rainfall in the desert
and she loved that airstream
almost as much as i did
and she even had a name for it
"pink sparkly rosebud"
mind you everything was pink
in ziah's world
not so much anymore
now that she's a grown up
