i like braided rag rugs

oh they just lay there
on the floors in every room
of my cozy cottage
and sometimes i find myself
staring at the fine detail
in a small area of a huge rug
the mingling of the colours
the accidental patterns
and the realization
that it's high time
for some spring cleaning
