aka kniphofia aka tritoma
i have not the equanimity
to photograph birds
except for yesterdays crow
(who took a shine to me)
and the hummingbirds
i attract with sugar water
and then there's the waterfowl
(swans and geese and herons
are sitting ducks for my canons)
oh and the western tanagers
who are inevitably attracted to
these red hot pokers
