there's lionel (pronounced lee oh nel because he's french) playing his sanshin aka shamisen or jabisen
the sanshin is often referred to as a japanese banjo and it's body is covered with snake skin and has three strings and a bamboo bridge
hmmmm... i wonder if leonard podolak has one of these
