when i was a kid in manitoba
and it got to be too cold
to use the outhouse on the farm
we had to go downstairs
into the earthen cellar
and i hated to do that
cuz there were lizards there
and there was a huge pet lizard
at laurie and john's old house
on the outskirts of winnipeg
and i've seen lots of geckos
at wanda and herb's home
in the california desert
yes there are some lizards
in my family
