it was a dark and stormy day
and night
100 k winds knocked down trees
on virtually every road and lane
bringing down power lines
i had to take the early ferry
to vancouver island
so i could post this noofoto
and i figured i might as well
continue on to manitoba
where i am sure to have
a white christmas
