my personal highlight of the festival
was an afternoon concert by
singer songwriter rodney crowell
and his two wonderful sidemen
his laid back performances
of his simple yet eloquent songs
made the hour fly by
especially moving was his tribute
to his late pal guy clark
i also enjoyed a workshop earlier
by the carolinans at the festival
