is the
columbia river gorge's
tallest waterfall
at 620 feet
and it's grandeur
warrants a first
for noofoto
a vertical image
making it also
the largest image
but well worth it
as was the short hike
for old crippled me
to get this photo
a rare occasion for me
to use a tripod
and to resort to
the slow exposure
to give that silky flow
to the tumbling falls
the bridge is about
70 feet above
the bottom of the falls
and there are people
on it in this image
" all day
and all night
unspooling
like ribbons
made of snow
or god's white hair
at any distance
it fell
without a break
or seam"
