once upon a grey cup sunday
in '70 or '71 i had to be revived
after all the grey cup revelry
to fill in as show opener
for the band chilliwack
at the 'auditorium' in winnipeg
and then in '76 i actually attended
the grey cup game in toronto
but the one i think of now
is the one i watched in boissevain
in my mother's hospital room
during her last days in 2012
