i enjoyed highway 22 north
it was smooth and straight
until i got north of dickinson
and then i enjoyed
the beautiful curves in the road
that wound down and up
the killdeer hills
and then 23 east
where wide open spaces
were punctuated with oil rigs
and grain and wind farms
