i used to live
in the village
of fulford harbour
i now live halfway
between that harbour
and this one in ganges
but for some reason
this morning i am
remembering zanzibar
that exotic island
in the indian ocean
where i spent an hour
every morning
up on my hotel's roof
which overlooked
stone town's harbour
