charred earth cheeseburger
i celebrated earth day morning
by delivering a truckload of dirt
and then treating myself
to a bacon cheeseburger
prepared to perfection
in the country grocer parking lot
by the copper kettle fundraisers
this was my first cheeseburger
since the in-n-out double double
in indio california a month ago
comparisons would be fruitless
so hold the tomato
