the late afternoon sky
has rosy cheeks
above the olive grove
beside the fulford ganges road
near my home atop lee's hill
the trees were planted in 2000
and after a fine first crop in 2016
the following harsh winter
was quite a setback for 2017
it is so brave to take on
such a challenge here
