although i have lived here
on salt spring island
for pretty much half of my life
today was the first time
that i have ventured into
the remarkable museum at the
the farmer's institute
and i was properly amazed
especially by these photographs
and specifically by the one
in the centre of this collage
i have seen it before
but today it captivated me again
i wonder why
