today many folks about my age
gathered at beaver point hall
to remember roger donnelly
who passed away last month
roger was a master carpenter
boat builder and musician
and what many of us
did not realize until today
an exceptional artist
i recall some of his paintings
exhibited at the fulford inn
but his many works of art
displayed today at his memorial
were awe inspiring
