the olive farm
on the slopes of lee's hill
in the late afternoon light
growing olive trees
takes passion and patience
as it takes years to maturity
when olives can be harvested
and pressed for olive oil
but the olive farm
is now selling their liquid gold
my thanksgiving caesar salad
just may have some of that
in my pugnacious dressing
