one of my favourite drives
is between bakersfield
and san bernardino
(two dismal metropolises)
yet the non interstate drive
between them is beautiful
the tehachapi mountains
and the mojave joshuas
the rock formations
at cajon junction and the
roller coaster interstate descents
from the high desert
into san bernardino
are amazing every time
