for a broken burgoyne tree
more dead than alive
there is much to see
in this gnarly relic
it has tusks and fangs
and it's innards
look quite intestinal
like fossilized guts
there was a bird on it
and even though
i turned the baseball game
way down low
the bird flew away
i am an unfortunate birder
