a short and very sweet visit
with my friend elsa
who is in hospital in victoria
and whom i love very much
as i made my way back to the ferry
i stopped at that serene stretch
of strait of georgia shoreline
and there was this solitary boat
making beautiful progress
with barely a whisper of a breeze
