salt spring island
is blessed with vineyards
and world class vintners
including my friend corinna
seen here pruning the vines
on the slopes of mansell farm
while the snow is still around
on a typical winterspring day
with plenty of bright sunshine
and then three hours later
i look up from my book and see
snow falling like white confetti
outside my kitchen window
