these 17 members
of a toronto judo team
did not only go
all the way to ukraine
only to see their
competition cancelled
due to the coronavirus
but then the 12-15 year olds
and their trainers
and several of their parents
were stuck in a faraway hotel
with no way to go home
until today's rescue charter
and they seemed tired
and somewhat bewildered
by all the attention
but they posed for me
