it's been too long
since i came to burgoyne bay
to watch the sun go down
and i got here so early
on a lovely spring day
that i got to read a book
and listen to some music
and even just listen
to the birds
and the waves
and my own crazy thoughts
somewhat mellowed
by being in this place
